ASME Code Vessel Fabrication
Since the first vessels were fabricated back in the 1950’s, Baker Tank Company has always maintained an ASME certification.
Our highly qualified Engineering Team utilizes real-world expertise coupled with the latest software programs for design and drawing implementation, such as Autocad and Compress.
Materials of construction include Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and other alloys.
Vessel fabrication is completed using ASME Section IX certified welders under the watchful eye of our Quality Control Department using the latest NDT practices including Radiography, Magnetic Particle Examination, Ultrasonic Examination, and receive the ASME “U” Monogram and can be National Board Registered, if required.
The Custom Fabrication shop has two bays of 45’ with a height of 40’ by 360’ long with a total crane tonnage of 46tons. The Custom Fabrication Shop utilizes its Parts Manufacturing Department to fabricate all the required internal and external components such as Nozzles, Manways, Piping, Ladders, and Platforms.
